We are certainly blessed to have so many cute fun grandkids. John called Amber and was talking about how we were going on a date to a movie Friday night. Little Savana was overhearing the date part and the Grandpa part, and told her mom all about how Bompa was taking her on a date to ge see the animals. How cute! Amber called back and was just laughing about the expected date. I guess Bompa will have to make good on that one of these days!
The Bezzants came over today for dinner and some games and the boys all had fun playing together. A little too much fun. It was awfully quiet downstairs, and pretty soon Brexten and David came running up the stairs to show off their Spiderman and Skeletor new looks. They had found the markers (some washable, some not), and had lots of fun!! We tried hard not to giggle, and decided the punishment should be some vigorous scrubbing in a cold bath. Hopefully it will not be repeated anytime soon!

Brynn planned this incredible Halloween murder mystery dinner for our family, and these are the fabulous photos from that evening! Brynn was Frankenstein and Mallory was Poison Ivy (they loved shopping at DI for their costumes--actually we all did.) John and I came as the Wicked Witch and Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde, Celeste was Cruella DeVille, Shanda and Jared came as the von Adams, and Amber and Sam were Dracula and his bride. It was a great evening--the house was especially spooky looking, and everyone pitched in and brought yummy food. Amber made some great eyeballs for dessert--if you need a fun Halloween dessert, talk to her! We won't tell you who the murderer was, but nobody figured it out. We had some great actors and the evening was tons of fun!
